I’ve gone by the field and it is quite dry. Kids should wear an “undershirt” as it is a bit cool out there.

We will only cancel if there is heavy rain or lightning.

Just wanted to update everyone that we’re getting full and I’m sure we’ll have 50 kids registered in the next couple of weeks as parents start thinking what to do for their kids during the summer. So if you haven’t REGISTERED – click on the Registration form to the right.

Also don’t forget just like last year in order to PLAY! All kids are required to have “SHIN GUARDS”. We highly recommend a pair of SOCCER SOX to go with them. Soccer shoes are optional ( you can get them at SI VOUS PLAY SPORTS at Woodside Mall or Walmart, Canadian Tire) (but a good pair of running shoes is a must. BLACK SHORTS and a RED SHIRT. Some will have the shirt from last year… but if you are new make sure you wear a RED shirt.

Hi Everyone,

Please find attached the 2011 Soccer Registration FORM.

We are always looking for Sponsors to help us out. We will be purchasing new (size 3 and size 4 soccer balls, more cones, pug-nets, and I would love to see the kids in “Brookside Soccer Jerseys” – that is if we can get sponsorship funds. If you work for a corporate company who would love to sponsor the kids, please have them contact me. THANK YOU!

This year we are planning to have the children in 5 groupings. We can add more if we have more volunteers.
1. Age 4 (Tots) 2. Age 5-6 3. Age 7 – 8 4. Age 9-10 5. Girls group

2 Ways to Submit Registration Forms:
1. You can mail it to my home address at: 67 Grapevine Circle, Scarborough, ON M1X 1X6 with $40 check.

2. There are drop off dates on Mondays from 3-6 pm throughout April and first two weeks of May. After which point you can e-mail me to see if there are any spaces still available. Please only call my cell (647-272-6629) if you have urgent questions… otherwise please e-mail. Thank you.

Soccer program starts: Saturday: June 11th – 9:30am – The full details are in the registration form!

Brookside Soccer Registration April 1st, 2011

As I have e-mailed in my newsletter. This year with the Support of our local Councillor, Dr. Raymond Cho, kind sponsors and volunteers we will be operating a third season of Brookside Soccer at Season’s Park, in the Morningside Height’s neighborhood.

This year the program will be limited to 50 kids 4-9 years (Born 2002-2008). Again it will be Saturday mornings 9:30- 10:45 am. My regrets to the older kids, unfortunately, there isn’t anyone stepping forward and volunteering to take a leadership role to help run the program.

Season runs for 10 weeks: June 11th – Aug 27th (Fun Day) No soccer- July 2nd Canada Day long weekend.

Registration form will be posted April 1st. – First come first serve.

Fee: $40 - includes, Trophy, Fun Day- Food & Activities
